  • Added force application to puzzle tiles when thrown with the mouse (PC 2.0). Also adjusted the physics material for more realistic behavior
  • Added mechanism for highlighting interactable objects. Puzzle tiles are now highlighted on mouseover

  • Implemented Gather tool for puzzle tiles together with a player hand area and related new GUI that shows the current hand capacity

  • Updated save files to store information about puzzle tiles held in hand. Loading a game will now restore puzzle tiles that were held in hand during last save
  • Implemented functionality to toggle the HUD with the F11 key
  • Implemented edge scrolling with the corresponding adjustable settings in the Options menu
  • Implemented puzzle tiles turn-over action using the General Interaction tool (PC 2.0)

  • Changed all parts of the puzzle model to be in the same layer category. This should both prevent unintended collisions and produce better visuals. It will also allow its conversion to an interactable item in a later release

  • Updated all labels in the game help manual to reflect all the changed in this release. This will cause some previously translated labels to revert to English

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug with puzzle tiles linking logic where linking would occur when a tile is moved close to another one but has not yet been dropped
  • Fixed some issues with the highlighting behavior when using the interaction tools
  • Fixed a major bug that allowed mouse clicks to affect game objects through the GUI
  • Fixed a bug causing puzzle tiles held in hand to not be put in the proper location when loading a game
  • Fixed various collision issues with moving interactable objects around the surface
  • Fixed a bug where interactable items could be thrown or moved outside the game board
  • Fixed an issue with the puzzle tile containers that caused them to climb ever higher while held
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the puzzle box lid from being opened
  • Fixed an issue where certain puzzle tiles located outside the puzzle box were still identified as being inside it
  • Fixed an issue with the event achievements not being recognized after new achievement was added to the global list
  • Fixed a bug with the loading screen trivia that caused them to repeat
  • Fixed a bug with the puzzle box that caused some puzzle tiles to be falsely identified as being outside it
  • Fixed a potential issue when taking puzzle tiles from puzzle box with the Gather tool at the start of a new game
  • Fixed a bug with the Gather tool that made taking puzzle tiles in hand impossible without holding the LMB for at least half a second
  • Fixed an issue with the puzzle tile containers not being able to move around freely in some cases due to collision errors
